Dynamo Kyiv defender Vladyslav Dubinchak shared his impressions of the team's training camp in Austria.
Vladislav Dubinchak- Half of the training camp is over. What is the team's condition? How do you feel personally?
- Physically, it's a bit hard because of the heavy loads, we work twice a day, including in the gym. But it's okay, it's training camp, so we have to be patient and we will soon be at the finish line.
- In the match against Young Boys, you were one of those who played more than a half. Do you have enough strength to spend more time on the pitch?
- In general, yes. But it was a hard journey, because we flew on the day of the game. Now I feel the load after the game, but during the match I felt fine.
- Young Boys are significantly different in terms of level from the opponents we faced in previous matches. Did you manage to test yourself against such an opponent?
- I think so. Plus, we work twice a day, so we weren't fresh enough, and the road also affected us, so it was much harder for us than for our opponent. This all affected us from about the 60th minute, but then the substitutes came on and added freshness.
- You scored a goal against Young Boys, which was your second goal at the training camp. What was the secret? Maybe some advice from the Mister?
- I wouldn't say that. I think it's a desire to prove myself, to fight for a place in the squad. I want to play more, so there is a lot of motivation.
- A new season is about to start in both the Ukrainian league and European competitions, where Dynamo did not perform well last season. In this regard, do you have a desire to rehabilitate yourself in front of the fans and perform well for the sake of the country's image, especially at this time?
- One hundred per cent, we need to do better, it's not even out of the question. We have to successfully overcome the qualification for the Conference League and show everything we can in the group.
- In general, what are your goals for the new season?
- To play more, because I was not very satisfied with my role in the spring part of last season. In my opinion, I didn't play enough, so I want to get more playing time.
