Ivan Nadein, the president of Veres Rovno Ivan Nadein explained why his club does not want to join the project of the TV pool of UPL TV.
Ivan Nadein"We had two actually options, because Setanta refused the TV pool, where there are not all 16 clubs. They are ready only on the condition that there will be 16 in total. So we were left with two options - either the offer of UPL TV or the club itself will do the broadcasting.
But for us the proposal of UPL TV remains unknown. We cannot understand this format, and we are offered to invest in a project that has no management, no budget, no payback. Accordingly, it will be difficult to invest in such a project. That is why we simply do not see the sense in it.
We do not want to go to a collective farm, but we are offered to go to a collective farm. To go into a collective farm, into a condominium where there are a lot of participants without normal management, without a concept, without a model, without a budget - forgive me. We are not ready to enter this story.
The only option left for us is to broadcast on Veres TV. But we are ready to consider proposals, if there is a management, a concept, a budget. Because we always realise that the only way for everyone to earn money is to unite. But nowhere in the world there is such a format as UPL TV. They sell, as a rule, the rights to professional broadcasters, professional companies that do it.
There are countries where there is no TV pool. And in order to have a TV pool, it is necessary either for everyone to sit down and unite, to meet first persons, or the political will of the government, as it was done, for example, in Spain. There are countries where there is still no teletubbies - Greece, where each club decides these issues on its own. Unfortunately, so far we are in this situation. So that we do not persuade each other, without a unified solution in the economy will not be there. Therefore, we go to our own project," Nadein said.
