Yesterday, 15 July, the organisers of Game4Ukraine reported that former Barcelona and France defender Eric Abidal would take part in a charity match in support of Ukraine, but then they deleted all the posts with this information.
Eric AbidalWe will remind, in February, the Frenchman played in the matches of the so-called "Legends Cup", which was held in Moscow. In addition to him, that tournament featured Florent Malouda, Emmanuel Adebayor, JJ Okocha and other football veterans.
A charity match in support of Ukraine will be held on 5 August in London. The proceeds from the event are promised to be donated to the restoration of the Mykhaylo-Kotsyubinsk lyceum in Chernihiv region, which was destroyed by the Russians last year.
