The 10th anniversary tournament in memory of the famous Dynamo Kyiv midfielder Andriy Gusin will be held from 17 to 20 August in Vizhnichchyna (Chernivtsi region).
Andrei GusinYouth teams of Kyiv Dynamo, Kharkiv Metalist and Lviv Karpaty are invited to the tournament. As part of the event, a charity event in support of the Ukrainian Armed Forces will be held.
On the eve in the discussion of the organisation of the tournament was attended by the head of the district military administration Sergiy Chebotar, chairman of the district Council Mikhail Andriuk, chairman of the Chernivtsi district Council, MP from the party "Servant of the People" Ruslan Domnitsak, representatives of Vizhnitsky, Putilskyi TG and owners of tourist facilities of the district.
"We must remember the people who in their lifetime made a significant contribution to the development and popularisation of Ukrainian football. The outstanding football player Andriy Gusin was a patriot of the country. In 2014, from the first days of the beginning of the ATO, he actively helped the military. I am convinced that now, during a full-scale invasion, Andriy would actively help the army, and possibly go to war himself," Ruslan Domnitsak said.
