French President Emmanuel Macron is persuading Kylian Mbappe to stay at PSG to better prepare for the home Olympics, El Debate reports.
According to the source, Macron wants the 24-year-old to spend another season at the Paris club with an eye on the 2024 Olympic Games.
Last year, it was reported that Kylian Mbappe had extended his contract with PSG due to the intervention of Emmanuel Macron. At the time, many expected the player to join Real Madrid as a free agent.
Earlier, Kylian Mbappe assured that he would not extend his contract with PSG. His current deal with the club runs until the summer of 2024.
