The legendary Lionel Messi has honoured his debut goal in his first match for Inter Miami. It happened in the Leagues Cup group stage match against Cruz Azul (2-1).

Interestingly, apart from Messi, former Barcelona player Sergi Busquets also made his debut in this game. Ukrainian defender Serhiy Krivtsov played the whole match.
Note that the Leagues Cup is a tournament between the clubs of MLS and Mexican Liga MX. The three best teams of the Leagues Cup will qualify for the CONCACAF Champions League.
