On Saturday, 22 July, Dynamo Kyiv played a regular training match as part of the training camp in Austria. The opponent of Mircea Lucescu's men was a representative of the second division of Slovenia - Rudar from Velenje. By mutual agreement, the match was held in an unusual format - the teams played three "periods" of 40 minutes each.

The opponent took the lead quite quickly. In the 6th minute, after a corner kick, Bludek jumped out at the near post and scored past Neshcheret - 0: 1.
For a long time, the White and Blues did not succeed in attacking, and Kyiv equalised in the 21st minute. Brazhko played a rebound on the outskirts of the penalty area, beat the defender and scored from 25 metres out - 1-1.
Right away, Yarmolenko had a great chance to put Dynamo ahead, but failed to convert his one-on-one with the goalkeeper. Voloshyn also had a great header, closing out a corner kick, but the ball flew past the goal. In another episode, Yarmolenko was put into a striking position, and Andriy shot from 10 metres out - near the post.
Still, Dynamo managed to take the lead before the first break. In the 37th minute, after a throw-in on the left flank, Shaparenko found Vanat in the penalty area, the striker held the ball and passed it back to Mykola, and the White and Blues midfielder put the ball into the far corner with a great roundhouse kick - 2: 1.
For the second "period", the White and Blues coaching staff made six substitutions. Shortly after the resumption of play, Diallo had a chance to score - Samba received the ball in the left corner of the penalty area, seemed to be making a shot, but the ball hit the post, and Benito's shot, which was on the rebound, was blocked by the defender.
In the 54th minute, Dynamo scored for the third time. First, after a goalkeeper's mistake, Buyalsky made an interception, but let the ball go too far and failed to beat the goalkeeper. But in the very next attack, Vivcharenko found Diallo in the left corner of the penalty area, Samba twisted several defenders at once and sent the ball into the far corner of the goal - 3: 1.
Later on, the White and Blues kept the opponent away from their own possessions, effectively leaving Bushchan out of work, but at the same time they were not particularly active in attack. Only Benito could have increased our team's advantage, as he took advantage of the defender's mistake to meet the goalkeeper from the centre of the pitch, but failed to beat him in close combat. In another episode, the Nigerian was unlucky when he played on a rebound in the penalty area, but hit the crossbar with a header. So, the teams went into the second break with Dynamo's two-goal lead.
At the start of the third period, Tsarenko had two good chances - first, Anton hit the post with a shot from outside the penalty area, and then scored near the post. But Dynamo still managed to score quickly. Andrievskyi sent in a corner kick, Karavayev scored with his head, the goalkeeper parried it over the goal line, and the field player also finished the ball into his own net to make sure he scored - 4-1.
Substitute Gorbach was eager to score. The striker had two super chances, but in both cases the goalkeeper made incredible saves, and in another episode Tsarenko was unlucky, playing on the rebound and shooting from the centre of the penalty area, but after a ricochet from the defender, the ball flew over the crossbar.
Karavaev scored Dynamo's fifth goal of the match, making it a double. In the 113th minute, Oleksandr successfully responded to Kabaev's shot from the left flank and sent the ball into the net from close range. The final score in the sparring was set by Ramadani, who headed home a corner kick - 6-1.
