"Brighton have announced the acquisition of Fiorentina centre-back Igor Giulio on their official website.

The parties have signed a contract until June 2027. The transfer of the 25-year-old footballer cost the Seagulls 20 million euros. The Violets will also be able to receive a share of the player's next resale.

Last season, Igor played 42 matches for Fiorentina, helping the team reach the finals of the Conference League and the Italian Cup.
