It's official. Liverpool captain Henderson joins Al-Ittifaq

"Liverpool have confirmed the transfer of team captain Jordan Henderson to Saudi Arabian side Al Ittifaq on their official website.

The term of the English midfielder's contract is not disclosed, but his salary is expected to be £700,000 per week. Al Ittifaq's head coach Steven Gerrard played an important role in the transfer of the 33-year-old.

Henderson leaves Liverpool after 12 seasons at Anfield.
