Oleksandr Palianytsia- Of course, everyone is disappointed with the start of our representative in the Champions League. Dnipro's Artem Dovbyk left the pitch without a goal again. We have to admit that he cannot cope with the burden of responsibility. Fans expect him to play effectively, which may, by the way, affect his employment abroad, but the ball stubbornly fails to go in.
I also played at the forefront of the attack at one time and I know what it's like. In such cases, they say: the main thing is one good shot, and then everything will be fine with the aim. We can only hope that Dovbyk will break the goalless streak in the return match in Athens. However, the reasons for yesterday's failure in Kosice were not only Dovbyk's mistakes, but also the lack of proper concentration of our defenders. That's why it's no surprise that Dnipro conceded so easily.
Is there a chance to take revenge in Athens in a week's time? I am convinced that the right conclusions will be drawn from the defeat and if we are lucky enough to score a quick goal, the intrigue will return immediately.
