On Sunday, 30 July, the 1st round match of the Ukrainian championship will take place, in which Dynamo Kyiv will host Minai from the village of the same name near Uzhhorod in Zakarpattia. The match will take place in Kyiv at the Valeriy Lobanovsky Dynamo Stadium.
Given that our rivals gained professional status in the 2018/19 season, the history of meetings between Dynamo and Minaj has only eight official matches: twice in the Ukrainian Cup and six times in the Ukrainian Championship. In all the matches, Dynamo won, conceding only one goal to the Zakarpattia team, which was scored by Robert Hegedosh, who no longer plays for Minaj.
In the current roster of the Transcarpathian team, there are only two players who have scored for Dynamo while playing for other clubs. These are striker Volodymyr Odariuk, who scored for our team in early March this year as a member of Ingults (Petrovo), and defender Dmytro Nemchaninov, who scored for Kyiv in the 2013/2014 season as a member of Lutsk Volyn,
Dynamo sent 14 goals into the net of Minaya: 12 in the Ukrainian league and 5 in cup matches. Among the current Dynamo players, Mykola Shaparenko is the top scorer in head-to-head matches with the Transcarpathians, with three goals to his name. Mikkel Duelund, who is currently playing for Danish side Aarhus on loan, scored twice in the Minaya goal.
Denys Harmash, Oleksandr Andriievskyi, Serhii Sydorchuk, Vitalii Buyalskyi, Anton Tsarenko and Vladyslav Vanat each scored one goal.
The former Croatian centre-back of Zakarpattia, Mislav Matić, scored another goal in this match.
Goals for Dynamo against Minaya (among the current team players):
3 - Shaparenko;
1 - Garmash, Andrievsky, Sydorchuk, Buyalsky, Tsarenko, Vanat.
