This weekend there are matches of the 1st round of the Ukrainian championship of the season-2023/24. In one of them on Sunday, 30 July, Dynamo Kyiv and Minai met. The match took place in Kyiv at the Dynamo stadium named after Valeriy Lobanovskiy.

The match started with a cold shower for Dynamo. In the third minute of the match Minai created two consecutive chances, the second of which was realised. First, after a wing pass Odariuk shot with his head from the goalkeeper's line - just above the goal. And a few seconds later Bilovar, kicking the ball away from his goal, played directly to Vitenchuk, who dared to shoot from 27 metres, and the ball flew exactly into the "nine" of Buschan's goal - 0:1.
After such a start Dynamo literally rushed into attack, and almost immediately Bandura had to react to quite dangerous shots of Shaparenko, Bilovar, and later - Yarmolenko. In general, in the future, "Minai" was firmly "closed" in their half of the field, Dynamo constantly controlled the ball and combined, but did not create any real chances.
But a goal was clearly imminent. And it happened in the 27th minute of the game. Odaryuk, interrupting a pass into the penalty area of "Minaya", played directly to Vanat and the latter put the ball into the net with a cannon shot from 10 metres - 1:1. And only three minutes later Dynamo scored the second goal. Buyalskyi received a pass from Kabaev in the penalty area of the guests, effectively covered the ball with his body, made a cross to Vanat and the latter confidently made a double - 2:1.
It seemed that now the road to a confident development of success was opened for Dynamo, but Popov made the task for his team more difficult on the 32nd minute of the match: he committed an extremely rude foul against the opponent and received a red card. Thus, Dynamo remained in the minority. As a result, the rest of the first half passed under the sign of Minaya's advantage. But it did not lead to any chances at the gates of Kyiv. So the teams went to the break with the score 2:1.
And at the beginning of the second half, the teams were at even strength. Bandura broke the rules in the fight with Yarmolenko, which was considered by the referee as a last hope foul. But such a turn did not embarrass Minaj, who boldly looked for their chances in attack. And in the 64th minute of the game the guests were very close to success: after a wing pass Vishnevskiy shot with his head from 10 metres, and the ball almost hit the bar of the Kyiv goal. And in the 71st minute of the game the same Vishnevskiy shot low from the left side of the penalty area, there was a ricochet, the ball flew into the goal, but Buschan, showing brilliant reaction, saved his team.
Dynamo attacked, of course, but did not create similar acuteness at Minaya's goal. But in the 85th minute the Bilo-Syni found their moment. Panasenko fouled Dubinchak in the penalty area, the referee did not hesitate to award a penalty, which was clearly realised by Buyalsky - 3:1. The point in the match was set by Karavaev in the compensated time of the second half: he efficiently played on the rebound after Olkhovoy coped with Brazhko's cannon shot - 4:1, the victory of Mircea Lucescu's team at the start of the championship.
In the next, the 2nd round Dynamo will play a guest match with Obolon Kyiv, which will take place next Saturday, 5 August, in Kyiv at the Obolon Arena stadium (kick-off - at 17:00).
