Dynamo Kyiv winger Andriy Yarmolenko commented on the 4-1 victory over Minaj in his first match since returning to his home club.

- Before the match, did you remember 2008, when you made your debut with Dynamo at this stadium?
- No, you've come a long way (smiles). I definitely didn't remember that game. I was just overwhelmed with emotions from returning home to my favourite team. The most important thing is that we won.
- How do you like the level of the UPL after the first match? Has it changed much during your absence?
- It's hard to speak in general because I've only played one game. But it's always been the case that all opponents who play against Dynamo come out with double motivation, fight, and when you miss a quick ball, teams close down and it becomes difficult. The most important thing is that we were able to create chances, score goals and bring the game to a logical conclusion.
- You personally also wanted to score - in particular, you had a good moment in the second half when you played Buyalsky into the wall...
- Of course, I wanted to score. But, as I said earlier in my interviews, the most important thing for me is that the championship returns to Kyiv. And whether I score or not is a secondary thing. As I promised, I will give my best on the pitch. Today they were enough for 70 minutes, and I will work to make them last for all 90.
- Do you keep the table of the UPL's top scorers in your head?
- I repeat - the most important thing for me is for Dynamo to become the champion this season.
