"Shakhtar decided to exclude the team's goalkeeper Anatoliy Trubin from the starting line-up. This is reported by Salciomercato.com.
According to the source, the reason why Trubin did not take part in the match of the second round of the Ukrainian league against Veres (1:1) is a punishment from the Shakhtar management, rather than a decision of the team's head coach Patrick van Leeuwen.
Such a measure is due to Trubin's unwillingness to extend his agreement with Shakhtar, which ends in June 2024. In addition, the player already has an agreement with Inter on a free transfer next summer.
We shall remind you that Inter wanted to sign Trubin earlier this summer, but the Milan club were not satisfied with the amount Shakhtar demanded.
