Konoplyanka made his debut for Cluj

Famous Ukrainian midfielder Yevhen Konoplyanka, who became a player of Romanian Cluj last week, played his first match for this team yesterday.

The 33-year-old player was included in the Cluj's application for the return match of the 2nd qualifying round of the Conference League with Turkish Adana Demirspor, and in the 75th minute entered the game, replacing Ermal Krasniqi. The Ukrainian did not manage to distinguish himself with any productive actions during the allotted playing time.

We would like to add that Cluj failed to qualify for the next round of the Conference League: the first match of Konoplyanka's team with Adana ended in a 1-1 draw, and in the return match the Turkish representative was stronger - 2-1.
