"Chelsea have announced the acquisition of Brighton goalkeeper Robert Sanchez for £25 million.
Roberto Sanchez, Getty ImagesSanchez, 25, has signed a contract with Chelsea until 2030 and will soon join Mauricio Pochettino's training sessions at the Cobham training ground.
"We are very pleased to welcome Robert to Chelsea and he will add further class to our goalkeeping line.
Robert has consistently proven himself in the Premier League and has represented his national team. We are excited to see him work under Pochettino and the rest of the goalkeeping team in the coming season," Chelsea sporting directors Paul Winstanley and Lawrence Stewart said in a statement.
