Zorya Luhansk head coach Nenad Lalatovic commented on his team's poor start to the 2023/24 Ukrainian league season. It will be recalled that the Luhansk team first lost to Rukh Lviv (1-2) and then to Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih (1-3).

- The level is not the same as it was when I first came here as a player. But it's still pretty good. Everyone is fighting, fighting. It looks like we won't have a single passing game.
- On the eve of the start of the championship, you said that your goal was to be in the top five at the winter break. After two opening rounds, have your plans not changed?
- Absolutely not. We are not changing our goals, we want to be among the leaders. Two defeats at the start is not a grief. Everything can still be fixed, because we have many games ahead of us.
- Tell me, what about the injured players? When will they be back in action?
- Butko, Churko, Guerrero are on the way. I hope that soon all of them will train in the general group(Butko said in a personal conversation that in a week - ed.) In general, we have a lot of personnel problems, but they should be resolved gradually.
- Are the five young Dynamo players who joined your team not yet ready to play in the first team?
- Yatsyk is injured. Horbach is ill, he has a fever. I am not so familiar with the other guys that I can immediately entrust them with a place in the first team.
- But you are counting on them?
- Of course, I am counting on them.
