Former Manchester United defender Harry Neville has spoken out about the role of experienced players, including Ukrainian Oleksandr Zinchenko, at Arsenal in London.
"I look at Edegaard, he's a fantastic professional. Zinchenko is also a great professional. But are they leaders when it is required of them in the game, when it comes to the most intense moments in the most important matches?
Such Arsenal players as Partey, Zinchenko, Edegor should lead the actions of their younger teammates - Saka, Martinelli and others. Sometimes these players just need a little prompting from the more experienced players, sometimes they just need to be told to stop running round in circles and get back to playing discipline. I think that's what Arsenal lacked last season and that's why they struggled in a number of games," Neville told Sky Sports.
