Greek Aris head coach Apostolos Terzis told what he expects from the first match of the 3rd qualifying round of the Conference League with Dynamo Kyiv, which will take place today in Thessaloniki.
"We are aware of the high degree of difficulty of the upcoming match, as Dynamo is an experienced team, which includes quality players who have achieved significant success both in their country and in European tournaments. We treat the matches with Dinamo as a big challenge.
But we are Aris, and we are not afraid of anything and nobody. Moreover, we play at home, the stadium will be full, and we know what a boost and strength our fans give us. On the pitch itself, the most important thing will be to execute the game plan, minimise mistakes and stay focused. Serious mistakes at this level are not forgivable. It is also important to avoid the mistakes we made in the matches against Ararat-Armeni in the previous stage of the Conference League.
We are looking forward to the matches against Dinamo to show that Aris is not here by chance. I hope we will come out victorious on Thursday," Tersis said at the pre-match press conference.
