A football referee of the "Premier League of the Crimean Football Union", Konstantin Popov, was liquidated in Donbas. He fought as part of the occupation army.
Popov's death was reported by former Ukrainian referee Yuriy Vaks, who heads the referee and inspection committee of the "Crimean Football Union" and has Russian citizenship.
"Unfortunately, Konstantin died. He blew himself up on a mine and fought for life for a week in hospital, but unfortunately he passed away. This happened on the Donetsk direction," said Vaks.
