A former employee of Ukrainian sports websites and TV channels, Dmytro Pasichnyk, has provided insider information about a conversation between Dynamo president Igor Surkis and Mircea Lucescu after the game in Thessaloniki.
"According to our information, after the match with Aris, Dynamo president Ihor Surkis and head coach Mircea Lucescu had a conversation, during which the president expressed his dissatisfaction after the disappointing defeat, but the Romanian specialist managed to convince the president that he was still able to fix everything. The priorities for the season were also set, namely, winning the UPL, which will allow the "champion's way" to qualify for the CL group. In our opinion, despite not reaching the CL group stage, Lucescu will have support until the end of the season. For the Romanian specialist, this is most likely his last season at Dynamo," Pasichnyk wrote on Telegram.
