"Chelsea are interested in acquiring Nice goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel, according to The Guardian.

The 36-year-old is being considered as a replacement for Kepa Arrizabalaga, who is close to joining Real Madrid. Kepa's departure makes Robert Sanchez, who was recently acquired from Brighton for £20+5 million, the Blues' main goalkeeper. Now Chelsea need to find a backup goalkeeper.
