This forced Lyon to make a quick substitution: in the 71st minute J. Lepenant came on in place of Jefinho. "Strasbourg continued to dominate the game, increasing their lead in the 75th minute. L. Motiba took advantage of a great opportunity and scored a goal, further strengthening the position of his team. In the 85th minute Lyon tried to get back into the game by introducing A. Lacazette instead of A. Sarr. In the 88th minute Lyon managed to get back thanks to a goal by N. Tagliafico. Tension was felt, both teams fought for the right to score one more goal before the final whistle. In the last minutes of the game "Strasbourg" decided to make a fifth substitution: J. Bellegarde replaced I. Sissoko. When the referee blew the final whistle, Strasbourg players were celebrating an impressive victory over Lyon. The match gave the spectators an exciting spectacle of skill, determination and passion. Strasbourg will surely take great confidence from this victory, while Lyon need to regroup and analyse their game in order to win again in the next matches.
