As the game progressed, Lucas Pires and Ruben Sobrino were substituted in the 65th minute, while Gustavo Escalante was introduced in the 71st minute to strengthen the midfield, making a tactical decision. However, Escalante received a red card in the 88th minute, leaving Cadiz with ten men for the final minutes of the match. Despite the numerical superiority, Cadiz maintained their determination and managed to hold on to the lead. Cadiz defended with great determination and organisation, preventing Alaves from equalising. The match ended 1-0 in favour of Cadiz, which cannot but please their fans. Thanks to this victory, Cadiz moved up in the La Liga standings, which increases its chances for a successful season. On the other hand, Alaves will be disappointed with the result, but can take solace in their energetic game. Both teams showed their skill and determination throughout the match, making it an exciting match for the fans. The Nuevo Mirandilla stadium produced some exciting football, emphasising the competitive nature of La Liga. Going forward, Cadiz will be looking to build on this win and continue their strong form as they strive for a place at the top of the standings.
