As you know, the Dynamo vs Aris match is nominally a home match for Kyiv, but due to the war it is still impossible to hold international meetings in Ukraine. And this time the temporary "home" for the Bilo-Syni became Bucharest and the local stadium "Giulesti".

This arena is located in the same-named district of the Romanian capital - Giulesti, and therefore has such a name. Although, officially the stadium is called "Giulesti Superbet Arena" - in reference to the title sponsor.

In addition, the arena is often referred to as Rapid Stadium, as it is the home stadium of the club of the same name from Bucharest. By the way, Dinamo is preparing for the upcoming match at the club base.

The Giulesti stadium - is very new, it was built a little more than a year ago, in March 2022, on the place of the old stadium of "Rapid". The arena has a capacity of 14,000 spectators.

"Giulesti" is located quite far from the centre of Bucharest, but very close to the railway station. On one side, a motorway runs closely to it, and on the other side (also closely) - railway tracks.

In Bucharest the match Dinamo vs Aris is not announced in any way, but on the facade of the stadium itself these days there is a video presentation of the match. The fans are attracted not only by the poster of the game itself, but also by the photo of the head coach of the Kyiv team Mircea Lucescu, who is not a stranger to Rapid: the Dynamo coach has led this club twice in his coaching career, from 1997 to 1998 and from 1999 to 2000.

Lucescu, by the way, has recently visited the Giulesti stadium: last Sunday, the Romanian specialist attended the match of the Romanian championship between Rapid and Petrolul (0:2) and, judging by the publications of the local media, became almost the main person in action of this match.

On Wednesday, a day before the match Dynamo vs Aris, pre-match trainings and pre-match press conferences of the teams will be held at the stadium "Julesti". Read and watch the full coverage of these events at Dynamo.kiev.ua.

In conclusion, we offer you a short video about the stadium "Dzhulesti" - how it is represented in the city infrastructure.
