London Arsenal has officially announced the signing of Brentford goalkeeper David Raya, the Gunners' press service reports.
According to Sky Sports, Arsenal have signed Raya on a one-year loan with a mandatory buyout option, but this option will be exercised subject to certain conditions, including the number of matches played.
"I am very happy that I was able to take up this challenge in my career and take a step forward. I'm really looking forward to getting started and seeing how this season goes. I spoke to the coach and he explained to me the values of Arsenal. This club continues to grow and it is a good challenge that I could not refuse," said David Raya.
It should be added that David Raya has been defending the colours of Brentford since 2019. During this time, he played 161 matches. Raya's current deal with Brentford runs until the summer of 2025.
