"Liverpool are interested in signing Fiorentina midfielder Sofiane Amrabat, talkSPORT reports.

The Merseysiders have started negotiations on the transfer of the 26-year-old. Jurgen Klopp's team is looking for options to strengthen the midfield after the transfers of Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia fell through.

Throughout the summer, Amrabat has been linked with Manchester United, where his former Utrecht coach Erik ten Hag works. The Maroccan is open to a move to the English Premier League this summer.
