UEFA has announced the shortlists for the men's football coach of the year and player of the year awards.

- Simone Inzaghi (Inter)
- Luciano Spalletti (Napoli).
A shortlist of three contenders for the Player of the Year award*:
- Kevin de Bruyne (Belgium - Manchester City)
- Lionel Messi (Argentina - Paris Saint-Germain, now Inter Miami)
- Erling Holand (Norway - Manchester City)

The awards will be presented on 31 August in Monaco at the UEFA Champions League 2023/2024 group stage draw.
