"Shakhtar will play their home matches of the Champions League 2023/2024 group stage in Germany at the Hamburg stadium.

It is reported that Shakhtar have reached an agreement with Hamburg to play matches at its pitch and UEFA has authorised it.

The capacity of the arena for international matches is 51,500 spectators. The schedule of matches will be known after the draw for the group stage of the Champions League, which will be held on 31 August.

Last season, the Pitmen played their home Champions League matches in Warsaw.
