The match of the 4th round of the First League between FC Chernihiv and FSC Mariupol, scheduled for 19 August 2023, will not take place due to a ban on its holding by the Chernihiv Regional State Administration. This was reported by the official telegram channel of the Chernihiv club.
"The date and time of the match will be announced later. FC Chernihiv expresses its condolences to the families and friends of the victims of the terrorist attack by the Nazi occupiers in the city of Chernihiv and prays for the lives and health of the victims," the statement said.
Russian troops struck the centre of Chernihiv on Saturday afternoon, 19 August.
