Former France captain Hugo Lloris will not join Lazio, who have already agreed a transfer with Tottenham, L'Equipe reports.
Hugo Lloris, Getty ImagesThe 36-year-old French goalkeeper broke off negotiations because the Romans, who won the right to play in the Champions League, did not give him guarantees of regular playing time. Ivan Provedel remains Lazio's number one.
Lloris's contract with Tottenham is valid for another year, but the player has agreed with the club that he will leave as soon as he receives a suitable offer.
