Maddison leaves stadium on crutches after MU match

Tottenham could lose James Maddison for a long time, Football London reports.

Maddison, 26, has fitted in seamlessly with Tottenham's game since his £40m move from Leicester, scoring two assists in the first match of the new season against Brentford.

"James Maddison was spotted by journalists in the mix-zone, leaving the stadium on crutches. He told them it was just a precaution. So fingers crossed," tweeted Football.London journalist Alasdair Gold.
