The match started at a pretty good pace, considering the incredible heat in Ukraine. Dynamo tried to seize the initiative right away and could have opened the scoring in the 13th minute of the game: after Yarmolenko's pass into the Odessa penalty area, Vanat received the ball and shot into the goal! But Chornomorets, who were left without several key players before this match, managed to realise their first moment! After a little chaos on the penalty line of the Bilo-Syni, Avagimyan won the fight and shot exactly into the bottom corner of the goal - 1:0.
After the conceded goal, Lucescu's team continued to play first choice, but the hosts were very compact in defence. Only at the end of the first half our team was able to create two more scoring chances. At first Shaparenko shot from a few metres out to the far side, and after a minute Shevchenko parried Vanat's powerful shot. That was the end of all the main events in the first half.
After the break Dynamo managed to equalise the score. On the 48th minute of the match, after a quick attack in the centre of the pitch, Shaparenko passed to the right corner of the penalty area to Yarmolenko and the Bilo-Syni midfielder shot past the Sailors' goalkeeper - 1:1! It seemed that this goal would be a turning point for Dynamo, but just a few minutes later Lucescu's team conceded a rather curious goal: after a series of mistakes by our defenders, Shtogrin went one-on-one with Nescheret and only at the second attempt managed to send the ball into the net - 2:1.
Further - more! Open football continued and Kyivians, who were not satisfied with such a scoreline, soon established the status quo again. After a long pass to Vanat, the forward won the fight and passed back to Sidorchuk - the Dynamo captain shot accurately low into the far corner - 2:2! "The Bilo-Syni did not think to stop at what had been achieved. "Chornomorets almost the whole team went into defence, but the moments near their goal did not become less. The real panic in the home team's penalty box occurred on 69 minutes, when neither Yarmolenko, nor Buyalskiy, nor Shaparenko managed to finish the attack from close range - all shots were blocked in the goalkeeper's box!
Passions continued to heat up. In the 84th minute of the match Sirota earned an unnecessary second warning in the centre of the pitch, for which he received a red card. Dynamo tried to pull out a victory even in the minority, but in the end they lost, conceding a goal in the 90th minute. Ihede opened on a pass from his partner, who went one-on-one with Nescheret and shot into an empty net - 3:2. "Chernomorets" sensationally wins...
Let us remind you that Dynamo will play their next match next week. On Thursday, 24 August, Lucescu's wards will meet Besiktas in the first play-off match of the Conference League. The game will kick off at 20:00.
