In the closing stages of the game, both teams continued to look for a turning point. In the 71st minute Cagliari made a fourth substitution: N. Nandes gave way to L. Pavoletti. In the 75th minute Torino made their fourth substitution, replacing R. Rodriguez with D. Pavoletti. Rodriguez for D. Zima. When the time came to the 90th minute, both teams made their last substitutions. A. Sanabria replaced S. Verdi in 87th minute for Torino, and A. Obert replaced A. Deiola for Cagliari in the same minute. However, these substitutions did not change the score, and at the end of the match in the 90th minute yellow card was received by Cagliari player L. Pavoletti, which added disappointment to an interesting and tense game. Although both teams were disappointed not to score the winning goal, credit must be given to their defensive resilience. Although the match between Torino and Cagliari ended in a goalless draw, it was an intriguing encounter that showed the quality and determination of the players. In the upcoming matches, both teams will undoubtedly be looking to improve their attacking qualities in order to pick up important points and move up the Serie A table.
