On Monday, the day after the 3-2 victory over Dynamo Kyiv in the 4th round of the Ukrainian championship, the Kyiv team had a morning training session in Odesa (the players who had played the day before were recovering) and then set off for Bucharest.
The Kyiv team spent almost the whole day on the road, first travelling by bus to Chisinau and then by plane to the Romanian capital, checking into a hotel late in the evening.
It will be recalled that next Thursday, 24 August, Dynamo will play the first leg of the Conference League qualifying round play-offs against Turkish side Besiktas at the Giuleschi Stadium in Bucharest. Kick-off is at 20:00 Kyiv time.
