Following Oleksandr Kucher, Dnipro-1 were left by Andriy Kudymov, who is still listed on the club's official website as assistant head coach, coaches Yuriy Ushmaev and Oleksandr Gritsay, as well as administrator Vadym Komardin.

Oleksandr Gritsai

All of them, with the exception of Gritsai, came to Dnipro-1 at the suggestion of the club's then sporting director Evgeniy Krasnikov, with whom they had previously worked at Kharkiv Arsenal and Metalist (and Komardin also worked at the Ukrainian national team and Dynamo Kyiv).

Against this background, the dismissal of Oleksandr Hrytsay, a man with a rich Dnipro past (he played for Dnipro, for which he played from 2000 to 2008), looks slightly unexpected. All the more so as yesterday he held a training session with the team in Uzhgorod.

This morning Dnipro 1 travelled to Trnava, where tomorrow they will play the first match of the play-off round of the Conference League qualification against Slovakian Spartak. Kick-off is at 19:30 Kyiv time.
