In anticipation of the start of the group stage of the Champions League, adidas has unveiled the official UEFA Champions League ball for the 2023/2024 season.
Photo: uefa.comThe design of the official ball for the major European competition features a letter from the instantly recognisable chorus of the tournament anthem ("The champions") on a metallic silver background on each of the 12 stars in an unusual calligraphic style. The visual representation of the musical tones of the famous song colours the stars in royal purple, red and blue - colours specially chosen to symbolise the football kings fighting for the coveted Champions League trophy.
