Carlos Tevez takes charge of Argentine Independiente

Argentine side Independiente announced on its official website the appointment of Carlos Tevez as the first team head coach.

The details of the contract with the 39-year-old specialist have not yet been disclosed. This is the second club at the dawn of Tevez's coaching career. In 2022, he worked at Rosario Central but resigned four months after his appointment.

After 27 rounds of the Argentine league, Independiente is 24th in the standings with 28 points.
