Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva has signed a new contract with the Citizens, the club's press service reports.
The footballer was actively interested in Catalan side Barcelona and some clubs from Saudi Arabia, but the Portuguese decided to extend his cooperation with the Citizens until the summer of 2026. Bernardo Silva has been defending the City colours since 2017. During this time, he became the English champion five times and won the Champions League.
- "I've had six incredible years at Manchester City and I'm delighted to be extending my stay here. Winning the treble last season was a very special achievement and I am thrilled to be part of a team that is so hungry and has so much passion.
Success makes you even hungrier and this club gives me the opportunity to keep winning. I love the coach, my teammates and the fans, and I hope we make even more great memories in the years to come," said Silva.
