"West Ham have congratulated Ukrainians on the occasion of Ukraine's Independence Day.
"On Ukraine's Independence Day, we would like to reaffirm our solidarity with Ukraine and Andriy Yarmolenko," the club's press service said.
It will be recalled that Andriy Yarmolenko played for West Ham in the 2018-2022 seasons.
