Slavia head coach Jindřich Trpisovski commented on his team's 2-0 victory over Zorya in the first leg of the play-off round of the Europa League qualification.
Jindřich Trpiszowski"I think the game in the first half was excellent from our side. Unfortunately, it did not culminate in the most important thing - goals. The performance was very close to what we showed with Dnipro 1. We created a lot of pressure, there were a lot of dangerous situations. There were great individual performances and a lot of pressure on the opponent with the ball, but, unfortunately, we did not realise chances, although there were a lot of them.
Even after substitutions we failed to score the desired first goal. But, fortunately, we scored a goal from a corner kick and managed to score the second one soon after. The victory is a good starting position, on the other hand, considering our game, we should have scored more than two goals," Trpisovski was quoted by Slavia's official website as saying.
