Mykhailo Kopolovets, a former player of Lviv's Karpaty and Zakarpattia's Minaya, shared his impressions of this week's European Cup matches of Ukrainian clubs.
- Ukrainian teams have no prospects in European competitions. I don't remember when we had such a low level of football. I can't even watch our Premier League anymore, and the performance of Ukrainian clubs in European competitions is a complete disappointment.
"Dynamo rejoice at their victory over Aris as if they had beaten Barcelona. But this is a mediocre team that you have to pass with your eyes closed, and not suffer through six halves and a penalty shootout. This is the result I was expecting. That is, it was predictable. The decline of our football has been going on for several years now and there are no prerequisites for this trend to change," the expert was quoted as saying by Express.
