However, it was too late for Everton: the final whistle blew, confirming a 0-1 win for Wolves. This fierce Premier League match showed the resilience and determination of both Everton and Wolves. Whilst Everton may feel aggrieved by the goal that didn't count, it was Wolves who took the crucial three points.
