Former Dynamo Kyiv midfielder Jermaine Lens, now playing in the third division of the French championship, told how he struggled with depression a few years ago.
Jermaine Lens- When I left "Besiktas", I was not in shape. I was a bit overweight. I had gained 110 kilos, but I didn't have a big belly, after all my height is 1.78 metres. One day, sitting in the car, I said to myself, "God, I can't even hit the ball properly anymore!". Then I called my coach and we started working. That was the beginning of my adventure in Versailles.
