These changes were aimed at preserving Bayern's advantage and securing the victory. In the 79th minute, I. Cardona, an Augsburg player, received a yellow card, adding to the team's frustration. Bayern Munich took advantage of this by making one last substitution in the 80th minute: K. Coman replaced R. Gravenberch. However, in the 86th minute Augsburg managed to get back on track with a goal by D. Bello. It was a consolation goal for the visitors, but they showed their fighting spirit to the end. After the final whistle Bayern emerged victorious with the score 3:1 in favour of Augsburg.
