Photo - Yu.YurievAs it turned out, Yarmolenko has problems with the knee, which made themselves known in the match of the 4th round of the championship of Ukraine with Odessa "Chornomorets". According to the results of the subsequent examination it was decided not to involve the experienced midfielder in the game with Besiktas.
Recently Yarmolenko went to one of the foreign specialised clinics, where he is waiting for an in-depth medical examination. After that, a decision will be made on the methods of treatment and, accordingly, will become clear tentative terms of recovery of the footballer.
In the return match with "Besiktas" Yarmolenko will definitely not play, and the question of his participation in matches for the national team of Ukraine against England (9 September) and Italy (12 September) in the qualifying cycle of Euro-2024 remains open.
