Manchester City coach Josep Guardiola may lead the England national team in the future.
According to Football-espana.net, Guardiola is in talks with the Football Association of England about working with the national team from 2025.
It is known that the Spanish coach was one of the candidates for the post of head coach of the England team back in 2012, but then the FAA opted in favour of Roy Hodgson. Now the sides have resumed talks again, given that Guardiola's agreement with Manchester City will end in the summer of 2025.
The FAA plans that Guardiola will already be preparing the England national team for the 2026 World Cup, which will be held in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
In addition, it is not ruled out that the Spaniard will leave "City" earlier - in 2024, having won all possible trophies with the club.
