The German championship clubs cannot yet agree on a common position regarding the funds coming from Russia for the sale of TV broadcasting rights. This is reported by Sportschau.de.

According to the source, at a meeting of representatives of the two leagues, 8 clubs voted in favour of stopping charitable donations and transferring Russian money. The names of the clubs were not given. Importantly, the other 26 clubs voted in favour of continuing the donations. Two more clubs abstained.

Recall, Bundesliga 1 and Bundesliga 2 are still broadcast in full in Russia. After 24 February 2022, all revenues from the sale of TV broadcasting rights German clubs donate to help Ukraine.
