Girona coach Michel nominated for La Liga's best coach in August

Girona coach Michel is among the three contenders for the title of the best coach of the month in the Spanish La Liga.

The 47-year-old specialist will compete with Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti and Valencia coach Ruben Baraha. In August, Girona won the matches against Getafe (3-0) and Sevilla (2-1), and drew with Real Sociedad (1-1).

After 3 rounds of the Spanish league, the White and Reds are third in the standings with seven points.
