"Roma have announced the transfer of Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku on their official website.
Romelu Lukaku, Getty ImagesThe Belgian forward signed a loan deal with the Romans until June 2024. The 30-year-old will wear the number 90 shirt for Wolves. Roma's owners will pay €7 million for Romel's one-year lease.
"The welcome I have received from this club and its fans has touched me and is an additional incentive to give my best for my new team. I breathed in the atmosphere of the Stadio Olimpico as a rival, I felt the warmth of the Roma players and today it is nice to know that you are part of it," Lukaku was quoted as saying by the club's press service.
